Anna Arlene Schneider

Arlene Schneider passed away at her home in Boise on January 28, 2018. Arlene was born September 1, 1934 in Caldwell, Idaho to Walter Evans and Maude Powell. Arlene grew up on the family farm in the Dixie and Notus area in Idaho. She attended and graduated from Notus High School in 1952, then graduated from Nampa Business College with an accounting degree.
She met and married Bill Bates of Nampa. They moved to Seattle, Washington and had three sons, Daniel, Randal and Philip. They later divorced and she met and married Albert Schneider of Sterling, Colorado. They moved to Boise, Idaho and had a son Mark.
While raising four sons, Arlene helped her husband Al’s businesses succeed and expand in Boise; Al’s Chevron, Al’s Car Care and Schneider Repair. Arlene loved gardening, large family gatherings and cheering on her children and grandchildren during sporting events.
Arlene was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Marvin, a sister Donna Mae, her husband Albert and daughter-in-law Debby Schneider.
She is survived by her four sons Daniel, his sons Dylan, Cameron and Clayton of Glendale AZ, Randal (Jan) their son Adam of Shaw Island WA, Philip (Tammy) their daughter Ellie of Meridian ID, and Mark of Union OR.
A private celebration of Arlene’s life will be held at a later date.
