Betty Jean Walker

Funeral service for Betty Jean Walker, 87, Nampa, Idaho will be Saturday, September 23, 2017 at 5:00 PM at the Cloverdale Funeral Home Chapel, Boise. Burial will be at a later date. Betty was born to Gene and Thelma (Wood) Morris in Chehalis, Washington on September 26, 1929. She grew up in Chehalis and graduated from High School there. She married Kenneth Walker, and they were married 26 years until his death in 2014. She was a Secretary for Boise Cascade until her retirement. Betty enjoyed traveling, cruises and cooking for her family. She was a smart, hard working beautiful woman with a big heart.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and a daughter, Kim Thomas.
Survivors include a son, Tom Thomas; two daughters, Juanita Thomas and Tina Brown; several grandchildren and great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
