1939-2017

Christine Hansen, 77, of Meridian, died on Saturday, June 3, 2017. Services will be held in the Chapel of Cloverdale Funeral Home on Saturday, June 10, 2017 at 2:00 pm with Pastor Phil Moran officiating, followed by a time of fellowship and food in the Cloverdale Reception Center.

Christine spent many years working in medical offices specializing in Orthopedics and Dermatology. There, she served as secretary, transcriptionist and office manager. During her lifetime, she took great pleasure spending time with her family. She filled her days with music, singing, art, cooking and organic gardening. Christine also found special purpose in the leadership and company she provided to young people in church and community youth groups.

Christine was born in Kansas on August 18, 1939 to Leland B. and Lois (Robinson) Pletcher. She was preceded in death by her husband Loren Hansen. Surviving are her son Robert Reed, step-daughters; Janice Hansen, Beverly (Donald) Lukasik, Andrea (Dustin) Busmann, brothers; Jack (Jeanette) Pletcher, Rex (Janice) Pletcher, Phil (Linda) Pletcher, Dan (Barbara) Pletcher, sister Fay Dague, fourteen nieces and nephews, and numerous extended family members.
