David Taylor Jones - “TayDid” was born December 15, 1988 in Boise, Idaho to parents Gene and Terri Jones. Taylor attended Chief Joseph Elementary, Meridian Middle School and graduated from Meridian High School.  Taylor grew up being loved but mostly bossed around by his big sister Lindsay.  Those two were joined at the hip.  Playing on the swing set in the backyard, making blanket forts in the front room and the hours they spent in the bathtub, I thought they may grow fins and swim away. Taylor loved animals. His first pet was a dog named Lacey J and an orange tabby cat named Hobbs.

Taylor played PAL soccer for several years before he discovered his love of music.  He played the drums and guitar, composed songs and sang as well.  Taylor had an infectious smile and his blue eyes could light up the room. He was an even better hugger.  He would hug you so tight sometimes it hurt. He also showed pigs in 4-H AND FFA. His second year he won a prize blue ribbon, Taylor loved to attend concerts and music festivals. Taylor never knew a stranger.  He had friends everywhere he went. He lived his life to the fullest. His life was not black and white or even gray. Taylor lived his life in color!

His life turned to “sonshine” the day his son Bryten was born!  It was love at first sight and the two have been inseparable ever since. Together they attended movies at the Village, Tuesday Sushi night at Kona Grill, Bowling at Big Al’s, Zoo Boise, The Discovery Center, Friday night movies in the park, crafting at Home Depot, cooking together, camping, attending parades, swimming at Eagle Island Park and attending Hyde Park Street Festival. Taylor would load up his backpack with all the essential food and snack items and the two of them would set out for the days adventure.

Taylor was an amazing uncle. He would take Maddox and Briggs and the four boys would head out!  Pojos and Meridian Speedway was a favorite.  Taylor loved everyone with a heart as big as his hair.

Tay-Did you will be soooo missed. You lived more life in 29 years than most people do in a lifetime. We all are forever changed to have known and loved you.    Taylor is survived by his son Bryten Tronic Jones, Mother – Terri Jones, Sister – Lindsay Jones “Henderson”, brother in law – Travis Henderson and nephews Maddox and Briggs Henderson. Loving Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles and cousins. Taylor was proceeded in death by his Father Gene Jones.
