The Sundbeck family has lost a precious member - one of the youngest in her generation. Although the distance between Idaho & Texas separated us, Kris & I had a special bond. We were the same age and each of us had 3 older sisters. We were not spoiled because of this, but knew our lives ahead would be paths forged on our own, not in the wake of siblings. The few times Kris & I visited were in our youth. For years it has been a goal of mine to visit Kris (and other family) in Idaho. I looked forward to catching-up with her and re-connecting at this stage of adult life. Of course, I thought I had more time. My sorrow is mixed with regret. Thank you for sharing her story in this tribute. My sincere condolences to so many who have lost so much by Kris' absence in their lives.

My sincere condolences to Kristine's family. I didn't ever get to meet her but knew Kathy in high school and had a class or two with her. What a wonderful tribute to a sister who so odviously was loved beyond measure. I am so sorry for your loss and may God hold you all in his love and give you peace that passes all understanding.

Kris was a beautiful light and a caring, loving person. We got to know her as she cared for a dear friend of ours at SWITC. Her sister, Kathie, is also a special friend and was a favorite teacher of mine. And Kris thought the world of her big sis! We are so sorry for your loss. We also regret that we are out of town and unable to attend the service honoring Kris. Please know that our hearts are with you. May the wonderful memories of Kris and all the goodness that she brought to so many people bring you peace and comfort. With sympathy, Gary and Janet Benoit

My sincere condolences to Kris' s family and friends. I worked with Kris for a long time out at SWITC and I am saddened to hear of this loss as she was an amazing woman. I won't be able to attend her services as I am on my way to the Oregon Coast. Now, knowing of her love for this place I will spend a moment sending my love and prayers to all that knew her and for her soul that will always be kept in your hearts.

I wanted to express my heartfelt condolences to all of Kris's family. For right now, there's no detour around grief, no shortcut through mourning. However, 2 Cor.4:7 says that God can give us, "... power beyond what is normal ", to go from one day to the next. This does not mean that we no longer cry, or that we forget. It means we recover. We recover because of our hope. Jesus Christ talked about our hope in John 5:28 which says, "... all those in the memorial tomb will hear his voice and come out ". Jesus was referring to the resurrection. That is our amazing hope! The Bible likens our hope to an anchor. Just like an anchor stabilizes a ship, our hope stabilizes us and keeps us from drowning in overwhelming sadness. 2 Cor.1:3 describes our Creator as, "... the God of all comfort ". One way that God comforts us is by moving people who care about us to give us words of encouragement that we need to hear. May the God of comfort be your comfort now, during this time of sorrow. Kris was always so much fun! We had so much fun in high school, and Kris was invariably the instigator of whatever we were doing. I remember sleepovers, cruising downtown, and just hanging out. Kris always brought joy and fun to any situation. She touched my life and her friendship will live on in my heart.

To her dear loved ones,
May you find peace in her passing from the memories she created. Her smile lit up a room and her laugh was contagious as we worked together to provide dental care to many residents over the years. One thing was for sure...she was reliable and an incredible advocate for each and every resident at the treatment center. An absolute gem and a pleasure to work with. I feel blessed to have had the opportunity to work along side such a top notch lady.
Sincerely, Donna Johnson

What a wonderful tribute, Kris will truly be missed. She was always strong and happy when we were around her. even when she got hit with the news of breast cancer, she stayed positive that she was going to beat it. John and family are thoughts and prayers go out to you all. Remember that Greg and I are just a phone call or text (or for Poncho a bicycle ride away) if you need anything at anytime. love Greg and Debbie Englesby

Oh Johnny and family. We do not have words to express our sorrow for your family. We love Krissy and we have such great memories of my early snowmobiling days with the two of you. I still have cards which Krissy gave me over the years. She was always such a compassionate, kind, thoughtful, loving woman. We have all lost a bright shining light with her passing. I hope peace comes with your fondest memories of Kris.
