Naomi Staples

Naomi Zalene Staples passed away in the arms of her family peacefully on 2/10/18. Naomi was born February 1, 1924 in Mt. Ayr Iowa to Ruben H Knight and Beulah Knight. She had one Brother Ernest Knight.
She married the love of her life James Wallace Staples in 1949 in Glenn’s Ferry and moved with him to Swan Falls where he worked for Idaho Power. At his retiring moved to the treasure valley where they resided in 1986 until moving to Meridian Idaho until till her passing.
They had 2 children Max Staples of Marysville Washington and Charlene Edwards of Meridian. Followed by 4 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Naomi loved her church, crocheting, crafts, gardening and collecting salt and pepper shakers. She was a faithful member of Treasure Valley Baptist Church. She worked there in the “Bearing precious seeds” making booklets of “John & Romans” for missionaries for many years.
She spent many years taking care of her grandchildren and great grandchildren, they were the light of her life.
She is survived by her son, her daughter and all of her grandchildren Candice Brunton, Terry Staples, Kristin Dolan and Tyler Robinson and her great grandchildren, Gabe Staples, Sam Staples, Jasmine Staples, Kayla Brunton, Sabrina Robinson, Isaiah Robinson, Buddy Brunton, Jacob Robinson, Mathias Dolan, Eli Dolan, and Brielle Brunton.
She was preceded in death by her parents one brother and her husband.
The Funeral Service for Naomi will be held on Friday February 23, 2018 at 11am with a viewing prior to the service at 10am, both at Cloverdale Funeral Home, 1200 N Cloverdale Rd in Boise.
