Barbara Jean (Wilcox) Hamilton
Barbara Jean Hamilton, 90, of Boise, Idaho passed away April 19, 2024 we like to believe that our Dad and her parents were there to greet her as she left her earthly bonds.
Barbara was born August 9, 1933; at Potlatch, Idaho. The daughter of Bela and Marybelle Wilcox. She graduated from Moscow High School in 1952 and furthered her education at the University of Idaho where she met her husband Ralph "Dale" Hamilton. The two were married in March 1953 and had 2 daughters Debbra Hamilton and Pamela "Hamilton" Jones. She devoted her life to her husband and children.
Barbara was an involved chapter member of Beta Sigma Phi, numerous Garden Clubs, she loved to entertain and was quite the cook. She was a member of the congregation at Cathedral of the Rockies in Boise.
She loved to bowl, snow ski, horseback ride, water ski, swim, cook and was a fantastic supporter of her children such as Pam's tennis team and Debbra's drill team events during their high school years.
She also had a passion for dogs and owned a number of Cocker Spaniels, a Teacup Poodle, and a Maltese.
She successfully moved her family, as they followed Dale's career, from Idaho to Utah, Florida, Texas, and back to Idaho.
Weekends in her household were filled with the stereo turned up, and her singing as the housework progressed. She was a great mom who let her kids sleep till noon on weekends and was always ready for a pool party. She made school shopping special whether it was in a little town of Price, Utah or Houston, TX.
She was admired and loved by many throughout her life.


She is survived by: Daughter's Debbra and Pam, Grandson Aaron Adams, Great Grandson Harvey Adams
