Geraldine M. Crew passed away Thursday, March 23rd, 2017 at home in Boise, Idaho.  Gerri was born on January 5, 1941 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Gerri was preceded in death by her husband Daniel L. Crew, and her parents, Gordon and Gale McNitt.  Gerri is survived by her three daughters, Cindy (and Rex Barrie), Michelle (and Ed Curtis), and Sandra Crew.  She is also survived by her sister, Barbara (and Waldemar Mistchenko), and her brother, Bruce McNitt.

Gerri was a homemaker who always strived to put her three daughters and husband as a priority.  She lived and shared her faith and love for the Lord Jesus Christ with all who knew her, and instilled that same love with her immediate family, as well as her grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Gerri’s love for the ocean, inspired her passion to become an accomplished award winning professional artist.  Her medium was oil painting of seascapes. Her portfolio of oil paintings also included; birds of prey, and southwestern landscapes.

Gerri was an avid gardener and landscaper.  Her beautiful garden designs were proudly displayed wherever she and Dan lived, to include a beautiful indoor atrium in the home which she and Dan designed and built in Sand Hollow.  It was in this home, that Gerri and

Dan were baptized together by their grandson Michael Perez shortly after Dan got saved.

Gerri was blessed with many grandchildren, and great grandchildren, of which she loved with all of her heart.  She excelled at schooling her grandchildren on video games, such as “Mario Brothers” and “Zelda.”

She and Dan always had “four footed furry friends” which she loved and spoiled almost as much as her many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Gerri was a true blessing to all who knew her, and words cannot express how much we love her and will miss her.
