Leo John Fox, 69, of Meridian, ID, passed away Tuesday, April 25, 2017, peacefully at home. Born July 23, 1947 in Berkeley, California to Ephraim and Christine Fox.
   At the age of 17, he enlisted in the United States Army. He served for four years with two tours in Vietnam, and was awarded two Bronze Stars for Valor. He was honorably discharged in 1970.
   Leo returned home to Reno, NV, and started working for Coca Cola as a service technician. He left Coca Cola in 1984 and went to work for Damon Industries and he retired in 2010.
   On June 12, 1971, he married Beverly S. Glass. They were blessed with two sons, Dean and Steven, and many years later divorced. On March 14, 1999, he married Sheri L. Miller, who had two children, Kellie and Eric. Leo and Sheri moved to Boise, ID in 2012. They had 15 wonderful years together until her passing in 2012.
   Leo was preceded in death by his father, Ephraim Fox, and his loving wife Sheri L. Fox. He is survived by his mother, Christine Fox of Seattle, WA, sons Dean Fox of Reno, NV, Steven Fox of Reno, NV, and Eric (Shian) Hughes of Horseshoe Bend, ID, daughter Kellie (John) Miller of Boise, ID, sisters Linda (Al) Bernarda of Elko, NV, and Katrina (Roger) Cody of Elko, NV, 9 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
   Leo was a great man with a huge heart and was loved by all. Nothing was more important to Leo than his family. He will be missed greatly by all who loved him.
   A traditional Tridentine Latin Requiem Mass will take place at Cloverdale Funeral Home in the Chapel on Tuesday May 2, 2017 at 11:30 a.m. Immediately following there will be Military Honors at the Committal Shelter at the Idaho State Veterans Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. Please arrive 10 minutes early. There will be a potluck gathering at Leo’s home following the committal service.
