Richard G Keene

Richard Keene died February 17, 2017 in Boise at the age of 70.   He was born June 12, 1946 in Plant City, Fl. to Virgina Sparkman and AJ Keene.

In 1968 he moved to Minnesota and worked as a Power Lineman out of IBEW Local 160 for 20 yrs.. He met Kathy Gallagher of Clear Lake and they married October 29, 1971. Richard and Kathy started a manufacturing and retail furniture business, Elkhorn Designs, in Jackson Hole, WY in 1988 and retired in 2002.

He is survived by his wife, Kathy, 3 sisters Charlene Burton, Cynthia Broadhead, Terri Rotella, and one brother Jakey, his five children: Kelly (Jacksonville, FL), Darlene Hizir (Miami, FL), Kari Rumfield (Belton, TX) Nikole Thompson (Garden Valley, ID) Brandon (Emmett, ID) and 13 grandchildren. Funeral is Wednesday February 22 at 11:00 am, St. Mary's Catholic Church, 2612 W State St., Boise.
