Sandra Marie Parendo

Sandra Marie Parendo, age 81 of Meridian, Idaho, passed away on Tuesday, March 21, 2017. Sandra was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on October 8, 1935 to her late parents, Carl P. Wille and Hilda “Marie” Wille.   In 1970, she relocated to the state of California where she spent most of her life until moving to Meridian, Idaho in 2005. For the majority of her adult life, Sandra worked as a LEC II for the Department of Corrections in California until her retirement.
She had a feisty, fearless, and fun loving spirit that brought light into the room in a way no one else could. She loved her family unconditionally and made a point to maintain a close relationship with each of her children and their families. She was the glue of the Parendo family and always kept the love alive.
Family and friends were Sandra’s passion and delight – she loved the time for conversation and sharing life. One of her favorite titles in life was grandma. She dedicated the later part of her life to doting on, caring for, loving, and supporting her nine grandchildren in all their individual aspects of life.  
Sandra is survived by her husband, Vernon Parendo, her brother, Bruce Wille, four children Kathe (George) Sears, Pamela (Jackie) Scialabba, Jane (Joe) St. Jean, Paul (Kori) Parendo, and nine grandkids Brian Sears, Amanda (Brianna) Sears, Ali Biggs (Moriah), Sara Parendo, Hannah Parendo, Andrew Parendo, Lauren Parendo, Madison St. Jean and Joshua St. Jean.   She will also never get the chance to hold her first great grandchild due in September but we know that the baby already has a very special guardian angel.   She also leaves behind numerous loving relatives and friends.
Sandra requested a private memorial service. The family wishes to thank all of those who cared for her during her last illness and throughout her life.
