Annie Catherine Bray

Catherine Annie Bray of Boise Idaho passed away peacefully Saturday June 23, 2018 surrounded by loved ones. She left us at 78 years young, and in Annie style, put up a hard fight her last weeks.
   She was born February 2, 1940 in Colfax, Washington to Walter and Sadie Brooks. Annie was the youngest of three girls, which is where she probably acquired her feisty and witty spirit. She loved taking care of the family farm and took great pride in her family’s ability to farm their own meat and vegetables.
In 1958 she graduated from the all girls catholic school Notre Dame Academy in Colton Washington. Later that year she married and soon after began raising their three children in Goldendale Washington. The family loved to go camping, fishing and spending time outdoors.
   After moving to Boise, Idaho in 1987, she started working at Micron and functioned as an operator and production trainer for 20 years. Retirement caught her eye in 2008 and since then, enjoyed time with her family, gardening, feeding the neighborhood squirrels and of course, providing food for everyone else in sight, even if you were not hungry.
Her three children, Vicki Wilkins, Rick Bray and Cindy Rowland, survive her along with nine grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild en route and many extended and chosen family whom she cherished.
A memorial service will be conducted at 2 pm on Sunday July 1, 2018 at the Cloverdale Funeral Home Chapel in Boise Idaho.
