Ashley Andrea Cliff

March 14, 1983 ~ November 23, 2020 (age 37) 37 Years Old

Tribute

Ashley Andrea Cliff was born on March 14th, 1983 to Rodney and Joan Moore in Denver Colorado. The youngest of 6 she was a quiet and loving sister, and if you ask her siblings they’d be the first to tell you there was always a little twinkle of mischief in her eyes.
Ashley attended elementary and middle school at Saint Pius the Tenth before going to Bishop Machebeuf High School. Growing up she was always quite the athlete excelling at both soccer and basketball in high school before continuing her soccer career for one season in College. It was there at Carroll College that she met the love of her life, Justin Cliff. Ashley received her B.A. from Carroll in Marketing and Communications. After finishing undergraduate school together, Justin and Ashley moved to the Bay Area of California where Ashley earned a M.A. in Integrated Marketing and Communications from Golden Gate University.
Ashley had many loves, none of which were greater than her love for her family, friends and 2 spunky West Highland Terriers, Chatham and Dublin. There wasn’t a day that would go by that she would miss her private phone calls with her parents Rod and Joan. In her visits back home to Denver to spend time with her siblings and family she always made time for her many nieces and nephews. On those trips whether it was sitting around the table playing games together, or her favorite activity of lounging in and around the pool in her parents back yard, Ashley cherished being around those family members. Ashley’s family in Boise was blessed to spend trips to McCall, enjoy holiday celebrations, and cheering on some of her favorite teams like Notre Dame football (she always joked her greatest crush in life was Brady Quinn) as well the Boise State and Denver Broncos.
Ashley will always be known for her beautiful smile, infectious giggle, ability to make those around her laugh and her incredible strength. Having been born with Cystic Fibrosis, the biggest legacy she leaves was the courage and strength she exemplified in fighting a disease that many who knew her never even knew the challenges she faced. Ashley was determined to live life to its fullest with the mindset I have a disease, it doesn’t have me. In 2018 after going through all of the ups and downs and hurdles of having had a heart and double lung transplant at Stanford Hospital, Ashley would always say “why do people think I’m so amazing, the doctors at Stanford are the amazing ones”. It was with that combination of grace and tenacity she approached life.
Ashley was loved and adored by all of us and we are all so grateful she is with her dad Rod, and her Heavenly Father. Looking down and making sure we are all feeling her love, and smiling on us with just a little twinkle of mischief.
Due to the Covid pandemic the services for Ashley are limited to family. The family wishes to express gratitude and thanks for your understanding.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in Ashleys name.
