Austin Lee Smith

Our beloved Austin Lee Smith, left this world to be with Jesus as a result of a tragic vehicle accident, returning home from his favorite place, Red Fish Lake, on September 3, 2018. Austin was born in Plains, Montana on June 4, 2000. He moved to Nampa, Idaho in March 2005.
He was a senior at Victory Charter School in Nampa. He loved his basketball team, running, anything outdoors, but most of all he loved the Lord, his family, girlfriend and his dog (Izzy). He was an avid outdoorsman and such a hard worker. He was employed by D-Zone Skydiving and loved his job and the excitement of working there.
Austin is survived by his parents Karissa and Chad Elliott of Nampa, ID. Jeff and Flower Smith of St. Ignatius, MT., his grandparent Earl and Jennie VanCampen of Nampa, ID., Don and Martha Smith of University Place, WA., and Tim and Karen Elliott of Nampa, ID. Austin was blessed to know and love his great grandparents, Thomas and Ruth Charlton of Plains, MT., as well as, great grandmother “Grandma Sam”, of Carmichael, CA. Austin loved his brothers and sister, Andrew Barnes of West Palm Beach, FL, Logan Smith of Nampa, ID., and his little sister Jaycee Elliott, Nampa, ID. Several aunts, uncles, cousins, and his honorary parents and sisters all who loved him very much.
In lieu of flowers, the family has set up a memorial fund that can be accessed at any Idaho Central Credit Union.

Austin had a love for his school and his basketball team. The support of his team and classmates during this time has been a blessing to his family. The proceeds will be used to help to provide new uniforms for his teammates and other scholastic needs for his school.
The family wants to extend a heartfelt gratitude to Austin’s beloved girlfriend, Bailee Tobias for being by his side when he left this earth. Austin would not have wanted it any other way.
The celebration of Austin’s life will be held on Saturday, Sept 15, 2018 at 2:00 P.M at his home church, Grace Bible Church (1415 Lonestar Rd, Nampa, ID 83651). Live streaming of the service will be available at live.idahograce.com 10 minutes prior of the service.
