Bart Lee Bryson, 71, of Boise, Idaho passed away at his home on April 19, 2021.
Born on September 18, 1949 and raised in Boise, Idaho to Harry Lee Bryson & Frances Margaret Clark Bryson. Not long after graduating from Capital High School, he volunteered for enlistment into the Army (1968-1971) as a candidate for "Special Forces" and earned the coveted Green Beret. After having served 20+ months in Vietnam, Bart returned to Boise and worked as an Operating Engineer working heavy equipment for nearly 10 years. In 1981, he was hired by Intermountain Gas Company and after 25+ years there, retired as an Inspector.

Bart was involved with many organizations, including: Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW), Idaho Automatic Weapons Collectors' Association (IAWCA), American Legion, Idaho Motor Pool & a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association (NRA). He was also a proud Mason and member of the El Korah Shriners. Anyone that knew Bart loved his sense of humor, his willingness to always lend a helping hand and, especially, his loyalty. He will be remembered for his love of martial arts, the military, US history, motorcycles & traveling, specifically, anywhere near the Pacific Ocean. He kept company with many circles of friends, but his most treasured moments were being surrounded by his own family.

Bart is survived by his son Jason Bryson, his wife, Sheila and grandson, Nakoa, of Boise, Idaho; his granddaughter, Kaitlyn Pogue and her husband, Devon, of Boise, Idaho; his daughter, Jennefer Hoffman, her husband, Josh and grandson, Calvin, of Meridian, Idaho.
He was preceded in death by his mother in 1996 and father in 1999.
