Bentley Roger Natanson

Bentley Roger Natanson of Boise, Idaho passed away September 29, 2020 after a long battle with cancer. He is survived by wife Sharon Natanson, daughter Natasha Thorson (husband Casey), and his granddaughters Kylie Thorson and Brooke Thorson. He was preceded in death by daughter Tiana Penney in 2009 and by brother Sheldon Natanson.

Bentley was born in Meriden, Connecticut on June 12, 1943 to parents Albert and Frances Natanson. He moved to California as a child and remained there until his parents came to Emmett, Idaho when he was 12 years old. He attended BJC and graduated from U of I in 1965 with a BA in business. He then began his career with IBM. He and Sharon were married October 27, 1967. Soon after, Bentley was transferred to Lake Hiawatha, New Jersey for two years. They returned to Idaho in 1969 to help care for aging parents. In 1973 Natasha came into their lives and was joined by Tiana in 1976. He retired from IBM at age 53 and spent several years as an independent consultant.

His biggest joys were reading the Wall Street Journal and watching car racing on television. He also was addicted to shopping–any kind. He loved to find a bargain!! He had the gift of gab and loved people!
