Bentson Lee Henderson

Bentson Lee Henderson of Eagle, Idaho, passed away on October 3, 2021 at the age of 86 due to complications from COVID 19.

Ben was the youngest son of Nathaniel and Emma Henderson. He was born in Ft. Collins, Colorado on May 21, 1935. Being the youngest of 15 siblings, he is survived by his older brother Dale Henderson of Sandy, Utah.

Ben was the father to four sons and a daughter: Jay (Shirlee) Henderson, Gary Henderson (deceased), Jim (Shari) Henderson, Todd (Patti) Henderson, and Kaye Henderson. He was a grandfather to ten grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.

Ben retired from the Union Pacific Railroad after 40 years of service and spent his remaining days as a gentleman farmer caring for his family, friends, and animals until being placed in an assisted living facility in Star, Idaho after having hip surgery.

Ben’s ashes will be spread in accordance with his wishes on a farm he once owned and is now owned by one of his sons. Ben also requested that there be no viewing or service held which is being honored by the family. We would like to thank everyone who knew Ben for their friendship and would like all to know that he loved each and every one of you.
