Beverly “Bev, BB, Mom, Grandma, GG” Buster passed away Wednesday, March 28, 2018, at Garnet Assisted Living in Garden City, Idaho. Beverly left strict instructions that she did not want an obituary. This is not to be considered an obituary but rather notice to all her Thirty-one card playing buddies at Garden Plaza Valley View that Beverly has left the building and will not return to garner additional quarters from her unsuspecting opponents.
Beverly left behind, in addition to her quarter collection, which was neatly contained in several prescription medication bottles; an extensive stash of plastic shopping bags; and a wide selection of dollar store greeting cards, carefully sorted by occasion. She also left behind two children, Rita and Marvin; one son-in-law, Jim; and one daughter-in-law, Joanna. To Beverly’s credit, she never did disclose which one of the four was her favorite, in spite of the numerous cajolings to pick one. Also left behind are two granddaughters, Angela and Monica and her husband Mike; a great granddaughter, Alex; and two great grandsons, Joshua and Jarett.
Beverly will now be able to be reunited with her husband, Harry; siblings, Edna, Louis Jr., Ray and Earl and numerous other family and friends. She will be missed by those of us who are still hanging out on this planet, especially at family holidays such as the traditional Fourth of July backyard festivities where she was known to have brought a garden hose to a water gun fight.
A celebration of life for friends and family will be held at Idaho Pizza, 6724 N Glenwood Street, on Sunday, April 8 at 1:30 p.m.
