Cade Elijah Hollis

Cade Elijah Hollis, 10 years old, of Boise, ID passed away on Sunday, March 28th, 2021 in Seattle, Washington from complications of his congenital heart defect.

Cade was born in Florence, AL on April 26th, 2010 to Shaina Marie and Corey Lynn Hollis. He also has one sister Juliet Lynn Hollis. Cade was a 5th grader at Hilldale Elementary in Meridian, Idaho. His favorite classes were Music, P.E., and Library. Cade had a tremendous love for animals of all kinds. His favorites were cows, horses, dogs, and dinosaurs. Cade was also an avid lover of video games. Most of all, Cade loved playing with his little sister, Juliet.

Cade’s heart diagnosis at birth never slowed him down. He was a determined and focused little boy with an amazing sense of humor. He also had the most gentle, empathetic soul anyone would ever meet. Cade’s zest for life outmatched all the challenges that were thrown at him in his short 10 years. He was a true fighter through and through. Sadly, his little heart had fought enough.

Cade is survived by his parents, Shaina and Corey Hollis; one little sister, Juliet; four grandparents, Brenda and Kenneth Hollis of Beaverton, Alabama and Judy and Frank Gallic of Boise, Idaho; one great-grandmother, Lois Collins of Hackleburg, Alabama; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held for Cade on Monday, April 5th, 2021 at 4:30 pm at a private residence: 1390 E Mallory Lane, Meridian, Idaho 83642.
