Share Tribute:

Catherine JoDean ‘Jody’ (McMillin) Tallmon was born to Earl and Loretta McMillin on October 1, 1937 at Mercy Hospital in Nampa, Idaho.  She was the eldest of three children; a sister to Marian L. Newman of Seattle and A.E. (Buzz) McMillin of Parma.  Jody graduated from Nampa Senior High and went on to receive her degree in nursing from St. Alphonsus school of nursing.  Her life was spent working as a registered nurse dealing with patient care, which was her dream as a child.  She passed away August 22, 2017 at St Alphonsus hospital with her daughter Pam (Hayes), and son-in-law Doug Pogue by her side.

She is proceeded in death by her son Mark Thomas Hayes, his father Don R. Hayes, and late husband Orville ‘Jim’ Tallmon.
She leaves behind her son Keith Lynn Hayes, his partner Tim Rock of Salem Oregon, her daughter Pamela Jean Pogue and husband Douglas Pogue of Boise.  Her grandsons Sean Naramore, wife Kelli Naramore and their three adorable daughters (Kylie, Madelyn and Cora) of Alaska; Zachary Naramore and his fiancé Katie Jamieson of Colorado. Additionally, her very loved nieces Lorinda Richmond-Grant and Tim Grant and their daughter and her husband; Lorena Brock and Joe Brock and their children, spouses and grandchildren. Not to be left out are the numerous in-laws, step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren.
She was a kind soul and loved her children deeply. Her love was shown in her care for her family and the many people she cared for as a Registered Nurse.  She has been released from her pain and suffering and will no longer be confined by her illnesses.  Her family will always have the many loving memories and her quiet ways to carry with them forever.  One of JoDeans last wishes was that there not be any formal services or viewing; but to scattered at sea to forever to ‘swim with the whales’. A personal family gathering will be held by the family in Boise.
