Catherine White

Catherine White passed away June 29, 2021 in Boise, ID. She was 93.

Catherine was born October 29, 1927 in Leitchfield, Kentucky to William and Mary White; she was the youngest of five with two sisters and two brothers. All of who preceded her in death. She graduated from Wilmington High School in 1947.

Catherine enjoyed music and loved to dance, she took every opportunity to learn something new as well as teach. She would often say, “It’s important to get a good education.” Catherine held many positions in her career. The first as a dispatch operator for the Florida Police Department, then ultimately retiring from Qwest Communications as a Data Administrator for the Special Services Department. As an adult, Catherine began researching nutrition and practicing a healthy lifestyle, with that she spent a lot of time in the garden.

Catherine was very active in the church, she became a “Born Again Christian” around 1980.

Catherine was blessed with five children (two sons and three daughters), eleven grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren.

Catherine was a wonderful friend, a caring sister, and loving wife and mother. She will be missed.
