Cindy Jo Berry

Cindy Jo Berry of meridian passed away June 25, 2020 after a hard fought battle with cancer.
Cindy was born to Theodore and Sandra Farris on June 19th, 1955 in Leavenworth Kansas. Cindy graduated high school in Eatonville WA and continued her education by serving her country in the Army where she obtained her nursing degree at Muric College in Oceanside CA.

Cindy is survived by her daughter Holli Farris, Son-in-law Joe Perry, granddaughter Halle Ferris, 2 great grandsons Ashton and Able McCollister, her nephew John Waters, her father Theodore Farris, her sister Joni Heppner, and many extended family and friends.
Cindy is preceded in death by her mom and younger sister.   

Cindy had a full life with many fun adventures and life long memories. Her talents ranged from being a wonderful cook to dealing a hot hand of poker. In her younger days she was an avid skier and loved to dance. While in the Army she traveled to many places and one of her favorite places to visit was Mexico. She loved the food, culture and enjoyed her scuba diving trips.

She continued to travel throughout her life with many fun trips with her friends to the Oregon coast and up to Sun Valley.
Cindy loved her cats and spoiled them just about as much as her granddaughter Halle. She loved being a grandmother and Halle was a bright light in her life.

Cindy spent most of her working career as an intake nurse at Horizon Home Health & Hospice, where she forged long lasting friendships with people she considered family.

Cindy raised her only daughter as a single mom most of her life and also helped raise her nephew John. They had many adventures and loving memories made together.

Cindy was a remarkable woman who lived life to the fullest and will be missed my many.
