Coby Von Wells

Coby was born at home in Boise, ID on July 29, 2006. Welcoming him into this world was his mother Julia Dawn Wells, father Steven Lynn Wells, sister Sierra Dawn McIver, and sister Sydnee Ann Wells. Being the youngest of three and the only boy, his sisters and mother smothered him with love and affection.

His blonde curly hair and beautiful smile drew attention from everyone Coby came in contact with. Our home was full of love. Coby was quick witted, vibrant, funny, and loved to make people laugh. As Coby grew into his teen years he struggled with insecurities in public. He struggled with humanity and extreme anxiety. Coby didn’t understand living with all the pain he felt, in his eyes more pain than joy. Coby found comfort at home with his mother who was his biggest fan, or picking on his sisters to get a laugh, or just annoying them. Coby enjoyed his quiet time playing video games and going to the gym with his dad to work out. He would occasionally spend time with his best friends Gabe Fisher and Tracyn Wolf. He always looked forward to their company and adventures. Coby received his Red Belt in Taekwondo at the age of 10. In the winter he loved skiing with his two sisters and father. In the summer he loved the water and would rarely turn down an opportunity to go swimming, paddle boarding, white water rafting, and wake surfing with family and close friends.

Coby is preceded in death by his great grandmother Sarah Rose Hafer, grandmother Sharon Ann Wells, and uncle Von Ray Wells.

Coby was tremendously loved by all that knew him. Until we meet again sweet child of mine. Our hearts will forever hold your memory with us.

A Celebration of Life gathering will take place from 6-8PM on Tuesday, January 31st at Cloverdale Event Center located at 1200 N. Cloverdale Rd., Boise, ID 83713.
