Darlene Mae Preslar ~ a loving mother, a mentor to many, and friend to all---died January 2, 2021 after a battle with cancer at her home surrounded by her loving daughter's. She was 83.
Darlene is survived by her 4 daughters, 6 grandchildren, 9 great- grandchildren. She also leaves behind her two brothers, three sisters and her companion of many years. She is predeceased by her loving husband, her son, mother, father's, and sister.
Darlene studied music and Art in Jr. college and graduated with an associate’s degree. She was a beautiful Spanish dancer in her youth and taught dance for many years.
She loved spending time with her family, friends. Darlene had a passion for traveling, golf, attending BSU sporting events and caring for her dog Toots. Darlene had a kindred spirit and touched many lives with her generosity and passion for life.
Darlene will be remembered for her teasing jokes, wildly entertaining stories, sense of humor, generous smile, an infectious laugh, and a willingness to come at any time to help a friend or family in need.
Her memory will be cherished and kept alive by her adoring children, sister's, brother's, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and friends.
The family would like to express our thanks for the wonderful help and care given by Hospice of Boise, Idaho and her dear friends that helped support her through this time of need. A celebration of life will be held at a later date, so we can all hug and kiss one another.
