David Alen Kline

Born 18 Nov. 1949 in Meridian, Idaho. Dave attended school in Meridian through the eleventh grade, then joined the army in 1967. He did two tours in Vietnam. After getting out of the service, in 1970 he attended barber school and joined his dad, Walter Kline, and brother, Jim, working at Walt’s Barber Shop. In 1977 he bought The Desert Fox Barber Center in Meridian where he worked until April 2007.
Dave enjoyed all the phases that life provided, but the most important to him were his two children Billie and Justin. The loss of his son in November 2000 was the most devastating event in Dave’s life.
He is survived by his daughter, Billie Garcia, of Kaysville, UT and 5 grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother, Jim Kline, of Boise.
Dave passed away, April 7, 2018 after a long struggle with his health. He was laid to rest at Cloverdale Memorial Park.
