Donald Bell

February 16, 1944 ~ April 27, 2020 (age 76) 76 Years Old

Tribute

On Monday, April 27th, 2020, Donald Bell passed away peacefully in his home with his children and his wife and best friend Carol Dean by his side. He was 76 years old. Donald was born February 16th, 1944 in Wendell, Idaho and spent most of his upbringing in Richfield Idaho. Shortly after graduation in 1962 he enlisted in the army and began his travels. While in Key West Florida on a chance blind date he met and later married his best friend Carol Shoemaker. They were married in Idaho, September 25, 1965. They raised two children, Justin and Jennifer. Don was a craftsman working in many areas of construction. His true calling though was family and community, always finding a way to be involved and to lend a helping hand. An avid walker he spent many hours on the path of life often holding the hand of his love. Dads message to us all was “Be Happy” and “gentlemen you better be opening those doors for the ladies”. A celebration of life will be held Friday, June 19th, at 11:00 am at Cloverdale funeral home in Boise Idaho.

In lieu of flowers please consider a donation on Donald’s behalf to the local chapter of Pulmonary Fibrosis. Donald was a member and a passionate advocate for a cure.
