Donna Marie Weatherby

                On Tuesday July 30, 2019, surrounded by those who loved her most, Donna Marie Weatherby passed away in her home after a courageous battle with cancer.

                She was born on December 4, 1946 in Nampa, Idaho and eventually would move to Atlanta, Idaho where at the young age of 14 met the love of her life, Billy. They would share a beautiful life together on this earth for almost 54 years, but now we take comfort in knowing that they are reunited at home with our heavenly father. Their love and devotion to one another is a gift and example for her children and grandchildren to live up to.

                Mom was not only a devoted mother to her children Tina (Ross), B.J. (Laurie), but she was a loving grandmother to Jessika, Nikkole (Justin) and Courtney. Her love of family was evident in every tender hug, warm smile and gentle touch. Mom always had the best home cooked meals and deserts baked for anyone visiting or just because.

                One of the best qualities of Donna was that she never knew a stranger. Her heart was always open to those in need and with each passing day you knew that you were always supported, cared for and loved. Her unconditional love will be missed by those whose life was forever changed by hers.

                Although our hearts are hurting, we are comforted in God’s word – Psalm 73:26 – “My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.”
