Voices from the past. Ray and I saw the article in the Fresno Bee. Sorry Suzanne for your loss, although we only met Mom a couple of times she certainly seemed like such a pleasant, nice lady. We are thinking of you at this time and hope that all is going well in your life. Ray and Sharon Darnell

I have such fond memories of Bette over the years and I cherish the time we spent together. I remember all the visits when Bette and Howard would come to get milk at the dairy. It was really fun. I remember fondly all the family gathering at Bette’s house too. Such a good cook! I will miss Bette but know she is at peace in heaven. God bless Howard, Suzanne and Linda and all their family too.

Linda, I didn't get a chance to meet your mom but she sounds like a wonderful lady! What a beautiful tribute! I was married in Fresno in 1970 and traveled through many times. I can tell she was loved by many. You and your family are in my prayers.

I was so saddened to learn of Bette's passing. Thank you, Howard, for calling me personally. Bette was always a most pleasant and caring cousin, much loved by the Harpain and Meisetschlager families. Though she may no longer be with us, the memories we have of her will never die. My sincere condolences to you, Howard, Suzanne and Linda. God love you Bette.

I knew Bette from playing the game FarmTown on Facebook for several years. She was a great farmer to work with on the farm. She seemed like a really sweet person. I am so sorry to hear of her passing!! She will be missed!!
