F. Marlene Croghan

F. Marlene Croghan passed to Heaven on March 17, 2018. Born on February 26, 1924 to Lee Oliver Roberts and Lettie (Broadbent) Roberts. She was the third child in a family of four. She joined an older sister, Melba Guffey, an older brother, Theron Roberts, and a younger brother, Derrill Roberts. She married Wallace E. Croghan on November 26, 1949 and to that union they were blessed with three children, Wallace, Jerry, and Marilyn.

Marlene worked for many years at United Airlines. After retirement, she and Wally enjoyed traveling, playing pinochle, time at the cabin in Cascade, United retirees get-togethers, and most of all, time with her family and friends. She was a member and active volunteer at Summit Baptist Church.

Marlene was preceded in death by her parents, Lee and Lettie, brother Theron, sister Melba, and husband Wallace. She is survived by her children Wallace, Jerry, and Marilyn, brother Derrill Roberts and their spouses, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Marlene and her family are very grateful for the care and friendship she received from St Luke’s Hospice and the staff at Elkhorn Village. In lieu of flowers the family suggest a donation to St. Luke’s Hospice at 190 East Idaho, Boise, Idaho 83712.

There will be a private family burial with a celebration of her life at a later date.
