Forrest William Brain passed away at the age of 46 on Sunday, June 7, 2020. He was born in Boise, Idaho to Raymond and Sherry Brain on August 30, 1973. He has four siblings; Jeanna Carrico, Clarrisa (C.J.) Johnson, Darwood Ashmead and his twin sister Rosemary Quigley. He married his wife Aine Keith on September 24, 2005 in Coeur D’Alene, Idaho.

Forrest graduated from Boise High School in 1992. He worked at Micron Technology for 24 years as a Technical Writer. During that time he met his beautiful wife Aine and they enjoyed traveling to places like Four Corners and McCall’s Ice Carnival. Forrest admired Aine’s passion for helping others and decided to switch career paths. He began working for the non-profit company, Healthwise where he worked as a Content Production Specialist for the past 2 years. He enjoyed his work there and felt that in his job he was helping people by researching and developing better medical documentation programs for healthcare workers.

He enjoyed playing video games as well as everything else to do with computers and electronics. He was a Trekkie with a taste for alternative music, new and old. What he cherished the most was his daughter, April. He was content to sit and tell stories of their adventures together for hours. They did many activities together such as,  going to the school and playing “Hot Lava Monster”, learning to play the ukulele, hiking, and monkeying around at the zoo. April was his pride and joy. He also enjoyed his pets and was very excited to show off his new funny looking “Cat” Stormy, by sending us all pictures of a very cute German Shepherd puppy. Forrest was also a master of corny “dad” jokes that would have some rolling their eyes and others rolling on the floor laughing. His sense of humor was enjoyed by all and dreaded by some.

Forrest is survived by his spouse, Aine Keith-Brain, his daughter, April Brain, father, Raymond Brain, four siblings; Jeanna Carrico, Clarrisa Johnson, Darwood Ashmead, and Rosemary Quigley and many nieces and nephews, cousins and in-laws. He was preceded in death by his mother Sherry Brain on December 27, 2011.
