Jacob Vichai Freeman

November 6, 2001 ~ May 5, 2022 (age 20) 20 Years Old

Tribute

Jacob V. Freeman “Guy Big”, 20, of Meridian, ID, died May 5th 2022 in Boise, ID.
He was born November 6th 2001 in Nampa, ID, beloved son of Joe and Anchalee Freeman and brother of Jenifer Baker. In 2020, he graduated from Borah High School where he was in the top 20 of his class and placed himself on the list of the National Honor Society. Jacob took AP classes trying to get ahead to pursue his dream of becoming an astrophysicist. He was mature for his own age and worked hard towards everything he achieved.
Scentsy is where he worked in the IBF department as a compounder. Mom’s morning routine was to look for Jacob and give him a hug before his shift ended. With his hard work, he was able to purchase his first brand new car that he was very proud of. Planning trips and going camping with his friends was something he loved to do. His smile, goofy personality, contagious humor, and novelty shirts are some of the things his colleagues will deeply miss.
Video games, science, target shooting, camping, and going to the beach were some of his favorite things to do. Searching for seashells along the water was his favorite activity to do at the beach. Science and space were subjects that he had always been passionate about pursuing from a young age. Black Bear Dinner became one of his favorite places to go every morning, spending time with his best friend, Dad.
Jacob had a goofy sense of humor with some of his favorite quotes from SpongeBob SquarePants and King of the Hill. Some of our favorite sayings from him are “you know me and my liquids” referring to his lemonade and “Lub you” instead of I love you. He gave us each a silly nickname; Dad is “old man”, Mom is “princess”, and Jenny is “Johnny”.
Being part of a large family, Jacob gifted each of us with many happy memories that we will always cherish. His parents are Joe and Anchalee Freeman and sister Jenifer Baker. Grandparents are Boon Pabst, Brant and Julie Freeman. Uncle Jirapan Deesoongnern. Cousins Ahmed Deesoongnern, Layli Deesoongnern, Seven Deesoongnern, and Kevin Deesoongnern. Seeing his niece, Julia Ruth, always brought a big smile to his face. Conversations about video games or space were always a joy to have with his brother-in-law Brandon Ruth.
Jacob is a goody, smart, big-hearted man that will be deeply missed and will forever be in everyone’s heart that he has touched. We give our thanks to the first responders who helped take him to the hospital, to the nurses and doctors that took care of him, to Louis and his team who helped with the transition of letting go, and to our friends and family that cared. He inspires us to give back to our community just as he has done being an organ donor and helping other lives. We will love and cherish Jacob forever and ever.
The service will be held on Friday, May 13 at 12pm at Cloverdale Funeral Home.
