Tribute

To my love:
If our paths had never crossed, I’d never have known the happiness, the magic and the joy of having you in my life. You were always my rock and that was what keep me going. Our journey together will once again come. This is the hardiest thing I have ever gone thru. I have lost a lot of family and friend, but losing you really hurts. I know that I must have to try to be strong for you, the kids, the grand kids, and the great grand babies.

As always, our hearts are one. I will always love you forever my sweetheart.

Brad

Son Pat’s Fondest Memories with Mom:
On Feb. 23, 2014 I took Mom on a date to see Colt Ford on his first time performing in Idaho. Then on Dec. 14, 2016 in Hawaii we went to the Honolulu zoo to see the animals that Mon loved. While in the zoo Mom, Dad, and I were at the top of a small incline when Dad though it would be funny to let go of her wheelchair and she started to roll down the incline and I had to run after her in my flip flop’s to catch her. Then Dad caught up to us and Mon slugged Dad in the arm and called him some names then we laughed about it. Then on Oct. 4, 2019 Mom came to watch me race for the go-kart championship in Emmett Idaho at the Black Cannon raceway even though Mom was not feeling good. She talked about all the dirt that she had on her and the places that she never thought she would have dirt.

I will miss you. Love Pat

Daughter Meriah’s Fondest Memories with Mom:
Mom was an amazing mother, wife, aunt, sister, friend and so much more. The way she looked at life would have inspired anyone. She always put her family first and then everything else would fit into place. She was the queen of a pound of hamburger. She knew how to make it feed everyone and then some. She would sit down with someone and the next thing you knew you were great friends. One of her favorite things to do was bake with grand kids. She also like to watch us kids do something together no matter what it was. Mon loved to tell the story of how her and my dad first met. Mom was a person you wanted in your life and if you were lucky enough to have that, you never wanted to let it go. Being around mom was easy until you got into proper English, then she would win the battle on how to say it properly. I still remember the day she found out she was going to be a Grandma. She did not stop smiling for weeks. Then the day she got to hold her great grandson that was all she could talk about. Then she got to hold her first great granddaughter and it was the same thing. She was all excited when my pool team asked her to be the official scorekeeper for us. She loved going to pool with me every week. The few times she was unable to go because she was not felling will, everyone asked where she was. I will say this, the hole I have in my heart will never close, but it will become smaller and smaller over time. I will be telling stories of you to my grand babies about their GG. I will live up to what you asked of me and I will keep making you proud of me. So until I see you again in the golden halls of Heaven I will love and miss you. We will see each other again and you will always be here with me and watching over all of us.

I miss you. Love Meriah.

Son-In_Law Gary's Memories of Mom:
It was quiet and lonely this morning. I came downstairs and you were not there. Im going to miss you and our talks at 3:30 in the morning. You always told me to have a good day at work. And no matter how my day ended up, that simple statement kept me going.
I remember when I told you I served in the Army and you were like " oh, so you know how to peel potatoes!" I had to laugh at that since I never had K.P. like that. It was always funny when you and I would talk. We would use "big" words and make people look funny at us because of it.
You became my very good friend and smoking buddy. When we would go to family gatherings, you and I would go for our cigarette break, when we were really trying to get away from the crowd. You were always thinking of me and how I was dealing with my P.T.S.D. That was just who you were, always thinking of others.
I didn't know you for very long, 7 years isn't that long, but it was more than enough for you to count me as one of your kids. You proved that when you included me in the trip to Hawaii. One of my fondest memories was going down to the smoking area at our hotel and meeting new people that you would just strike up  conversation with.
Mom, you will be missed, but you're in a better place and not hurting anymore and that gives me some peace when your memory crosses my mind. I love you and will miss you dearly.
