Our loving Father, Husband, Grandfather, and Great-Grandfather passed away on Sunday, April 25, 2021.
Jerry was born on February 13, 1934 in Antigo, WI to Eleanor and Ernest Lang.
Jerry married the love of his life, Sharon L. Crowder (Lang) on June 13, 1959 in Casper, WY. During their 55 years of marriage, they moved several times with their daughter, Kim, and son, Kelly, with stops in Boise, Murray, Utah, Clayton, CA, Issaquah, WA, and back to Boise for retirement in 1983.
The moves were due to the many promotions that Jerry had been awarded throughout his career with Champion Spark Plug Co. He retired in 1989 from Champion, but later joined a former customer, Oakley Auto Parts Warehouse, based in Boise, until he fully retired in 2004.
Jerry’s favorite hobby was golf and became an avid golfer spending many days, when time permitted, on the course with his friends. Jerry genuinely loved any time he could spend with his family, which included trips to the Oregon Coast, house boating on Lake Shasta, graduations, and a great glass of red wine around the dinner table sharing stories and having a good laugh.
Jerry is survived by his son, Kelly (Julie) Lang; daughter, Kim (Dennis) Crouse; grandchildren, Kelsie (Chris) Bacchus, Annie Lang, Craig (Tasha) Crouse, and Kelly (Hanna) Crouse; great grandchildren and great step-grandchildren, Harper (Gigi) Bacchus, Easton Crouse, Kimberlee, and Levi.
Private services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers please donate to the SPCA in your local area.
