John M. Fowers, 54, passed away suddenly Friday, January 11th 2019 in Meridian Idaho. He was born July 4th, 1964 in Erie, Pennsylvania. He graduated from Meridian High School, class of ’82 and went on to serve in the army. He worked as an area manager for North West Services. He is survived by his father, Steve, his sister, April, his wife, Charlene, his three sons: Ken (Kate), Kevin, Dakota, and his grandson, James.
John spent his days working hard and cooking delicious food for his family and any neighborhood kids who could smell it. He loved his boys so much and had several surrogate sons who always had a place in heart and his home. He enjoyed getting together with his family and playing with his grandson who he kept spoiled. His family was blessed to enjoy one last holiday season with him before he passed. John always had a smile on his face and even on bad days managed to laugh at everything. He had so much love for everyone he met. You could see how much he cared in his eyes and feel it in his hugs. His hobbies included cooking, camping, fishing, playing video games, and keeping updated on the latest documentaries. John loved learning about anything he could and was filled with fun facts like any grandpa would be. He was a lighthearted man who loved to make jokes at any opportunity. The world will be less without his light and he will be greatly missed.
