It has been a honor to have been friends with John the last thirty plus years. I shall always cherish the memories that we all shared. He wove himself into the tapestry of our lives, like a golden thread that will remain with us always. To Betty, Mark, John and their dear families we give you our love and prayers. Know that your loss is our loss also. God Bless each of you, and may you be comforted with your lasting memories.

He wasn't Uncle John to me, he was Mina, always. My strongest memories of him are of his being so proud to be an American, his love of family, and his total devotion to Betty. His laugh, and interest in the words and opinions of others will always remain with me. Our love to Betty, Mark, John, their wives and Melody.

John was a most gracious and dignified man who always made you feel comfortable, even the first time you met him. We enjoyed his friendliness and his warm sense of humor. His love for his family was always apparent and we hope they will find comfort in the many memories he has left them. Mark is a much loved member of our family and we often see his father in him. We send sincere condolences to John's family - we feel privileged to have known him.

John has always been such a joy to speak with when we would see him on holidays and special occasions. He always treated Mark and Portia with love and caring and it showed in his face every time he looked at them. He will truly be missed!

We remember Mina with love and laughter,and all of the patience, gentleness and kindess that he bestowed all of his life. We count ourselves fortunate to have known such a loving man.
