John was an employee of Micron Technology for 36 years. He married his wife, Tina, in July, 1988. John was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. He loved meeting on Friday mornings with his Bible study group. He truly loved the Lord. He enjoyed playing golf, watching baseball and football and was a loyal Cubs, Bears, and Black Hawk fan to the end. He even liked the White Sox. In addition, he enjoyed traveling, playing his guitars and ukulele. He loved photographing wildlife and a good glass of red wine. John lived life to the fullest.
John is survived by his wife, Tina (aka Christine), his two sons Daniel and Nicholas, fur baby Lacey, and grandchildren Tanna, Justin, Tenley and Isla Morris, Brianne, Jaycee, Maverick, and Hailey.
John aggressively fought melanoma metastases. It is the deadliest of all cancers. Chemotherapy is not an effective treatment for this disease at this time.
