Kashmire Alexis

January 10, 1989 ~ May 17, 2018 (age 29) 29 Years Old

Tribute

Kashmir Alexis, beloved daughter, sister, and friend, passed away Thursday, May 17, 2018 at the age of 29. One of Kashmir’s greatest dreams was to be able to go to Japan. She fell in love with the Japanese culture and anime at a young age. That love for the culture stayed with her up until adulthood.  As a family, we were able to see her dream become a reality. The family was able to save up enough for her to fly to Japan to meet up with her brother, James. Kashmir went into cardiac arrest at LAX on their way home from Japan on Wednesday, May 16th, 2018. She was taken to Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center. It there we found out that she had gone into cardiac arrest 3 times while at the airport. The cause was two blood clots in her legs that traveled to her lungs. Her brain suffered from major swelling due to these clots. She was not able to recover from her injuries.

Kashmir Alexis was the most genuine, most kind, and gentle person you could ever meet. Although she was shy and timid, she had a smile that would light up a room and melt your heart. Her authentic kindness, unconditional love and devotion to family and friends were unparalleled. She was the true definition of a sweetheart. She had the most beautiful soul. You are so amazing, Kashmir. We’ve never seen her be mean to anyone, not a single soul. She was kind to every person she met. I truly don't know what we are going to do without you. I love you so much, Kashmir.

Kashmir Alexis was born January 10th, 1989 to Donna Lee. She passed away on May 17th, 2018 at the age of 29. She is survived by her parents, Donna and David Lee, her older brother, Jazz Alexis, and her younger brother and sister, James Lee and Alexis Courtois.

The Family requests that you wear RED to the Memorial Service, since red was her favorite color.
