Leon Leroyce Waterman.
Leon was born 12 Oct. 1932 to Walter K. Waterman and Gladys M. (Watts) Waterman in Caldwell ID. The family moved to a dairy farm west of Caldwell in 1933, where he grew up attending local schools. The family later moved to a dairy farm north of Caldwell in 1954. Leon graduated high school at Caldwell in 1950 and then enrolled in the College of Idaho in the fall of 1950 and graduated in 1955. He was drafted in the US Army in Sept. 1955 and served 2 years, part of which was spent in Japan. He was Honorably Discharged in 1957. He married Audrey M. Yarno on 6 Apr. 1962 in Boise ID. They had 3 children Laurence, Bruce, and Sean. He was preceded in death by his son Bruce in 1980. Leon & Audrey moved from Boise to Meridian in 1990. He worked for the US Postal Service from 1968 until retiring in 1996.
