Our beloved mother, daughter, sister, grandmother and friend, Linda Rose Gudgell, 63, unexpectedly passed away on Christmas morning, 2022, at her home in Meridian, Idaho. Linda was born on February 3, 1959, in Pendleton, Oregon, the daughter of Barbara B. Higgins & Irving H. Wilkerson. Linda spent her early childhood in Boise, Idaho, later moving to the Twin Falls area and graduating from Kimberly High School. After high school she married Robert C. Gudgell of Kimberly, Idaho and resided in Boise for several years before moving to Meridian.

Linda had a long, successful career working in corporate customer relations within the medical field and management in the telecommunications industry. She was incredibly dedicated and hardworking in all of her assignments. Football couldn’t have had a bigger fan, Linda was a fanatical watcher and on game day she was known to be involved in multiple games at the same time. Linda’s love of her canine companions had no limit. Rex, and Bella, Brando, and Marlin before, were an integral part of her life. As a friend, LInda was giving, loving and always available to help out for any need. She was instrumental in helping numerous lives during over 30 years in the AA service.

She is survived by her loving family which includes her son, Jason Gudgell of Meridian, her granddaughters, Autumn Gudgell and Isabella Musgrove of Meridian, her grandson, Danick Jensen of Orem, Utah, her father, Irving Wilkerson of Boise, and her brother, Doug Wilkerson of Kailua-Kona, Hawaii, as well as her loving canine companion “Rex”. She was preceded in death by her mother.

Linda touched the lives of so many people. Her family and friends love her and will deeply miss her.

A Celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, April 22, at 1:00 p.m. at the Cloverdale Funeral Home in Boise, 1200 N Cloverdale Road
