Marci Ann Morrison

March 15, 1977 ~ September 6, 2022 (age 45) 45 Years Old

Tribute

We are heartbroken to share news of the loss of our beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.

Marci was born in Honolulu, Hawaii on March 15, 1977, to Robert and Denise Sheldon. After traveling the world with her military parents and older brother Robert Jr., the family retired to Idaho in July 1995. Marci soon met the love of her life, James Morrison and they celebrated their life together on September 20, 1997. Their family rapidly grew to 5 adding Shaddow, Shabreeah and Shawn. Marci worked many years in the nursing field and then with the State of Idaho Department of Health and Welfare. Her work ethic mirrored her devotion to family.

Marci was a brilliant, kind and gentle woman who shared her deep love for family and friends without ever putting herself first. She was a rare person indeed.

On August 19, 2020, Marci was involved in a fatal head on car collision. She spent 4 months in ICU at St. Alphonsus Hospital, the Vibra Rehabilitation and then back to St. Al’s Rehabilitation before we were finally able to take her home. This was during the Covid pandemic so no visitors. We often joked that she was in solitary confinement, but it was no laughing matter. She broke over 49% of the bones in her body and desperately struggled every day to reclaim a life she once knew. Just when we all thought she could almost take a ‘breather’, the Lord took her home.

Marci leaves her dad Robert, mom Denise, brother Robert Jr., spouse James, and children Shaddow, Shabreeah and Shawn. She also leaves three beautiful grandchildren and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephew as well as her in-laws Rose and Donald Hostettler.

Marci loved the Lord and we have no doubt she is with Him now. Love you baby girl, Rest in Peace.

“You never said I’m leaving, you never said goodbye. You were gone before we knew it, and only God knew why. A million times we needed you, a million times we cried. If love alone could have saved you, you never would have died. In life we love you dearly, in death we love you still. In our hearts you hold a place that no one could ever fill. It broke our hearts to lose you, but you didn’t go alone. For part of us went with you, the day God took you home” - Unknown
