Margaret Lee Elliott

Margaret Lee Elliott (Saunders), 90, of Kuna, ID went to be with her savior on May 7, 2022.

She was born May 2, 1932 in Roanoke, VA.  After high school she worked at a photography shop.

She married the love of her life, David Leigh Elliott on May 6, 1956.

They moved from VA to TX, them MO, and back to VA while David was attending bible colleges.  During these years they were blessed with two boys.  She was a caring homemaker and loving mother.  The family moved from VA to Boise, ID in 1978.  She was a dedicated Christian who loved the lord and encouraged others to find Christ.  She loved homemaking, cooking, gardening, flowers, and hobbies like crocheting and sewing.  She was active in women’s church groups and the National Extension Homemakers Councils.

She will be missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her husband David Elliott Sr., parents Charles Saunders and Emma Saunders of Mt Pleasant, VA, brother Roger Saunders of Rocky Mount, VA., and sister Jean Arrington of Roanoke, VA.  She is survived by her sons David Leigh Elliott Jr. of Kuna, ID and Charles (Chuck) Elliott and wife Ragan of Star, ID.

Funeral services include a viewing reception from 4:00-7:00pm on Fri 5/13 at Cloverdale Funeral Home, and a graveside service at 11:00am on Sat 5/14 at Kuna Cemetery immediately followed by a lunch reception at Ten Mile Community Church.
