Marion Viola Jasper Hyde, 92, passed on to heaven on March 4, 2018.
She was born September 14, 1925 in St John, North Dakota and grew up in Regina, Saskatchewan. She graduated with honors from the University of North Dakota with a degree in Dietetics. While in college she met Donald Hyde, who had returned from service in World War II. They were married on May 8, 1948.
After short stays at several mining towns throughout the West, they settled in Babbitt, Minnesota, where they raised their family of two children, Yvonne and Kevin. They were active in Woodland Presbyterian Church and other community organizations.
After retirement, they moved to Boise, Idaho, and enjoyed many family activities.
She is survived by her husband Donald Edwin Hyde, daughter Yvonne Hyde Gier (David), son Kevin James Hyde (Cindy), grandchildren Matthew Donald Gier (Lisa), Nathan Edwin Gier (Melanie), James Henry Hyde, Bethany Faith Hyde, and great-grandchildren Gavin Matthew Gier and Carson Edwin Gier.
