They later divorced and she married Kenneth Loewen, the love of her life. She loved being a wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was very proud of her Norwegian heritage and loved the tradition of lutefisk on Christmas; not always appreciated by new comers to the family.
Ida loved camping and fishing with Kenny and tending their vegetable garden and raspberry patch. She made Kendi Rae frozen raspberry jam which she sold through Albertsons. Later in life she worked at Micron until she retired.
