Marjory Ida Loewen

Marjory (Ida) Loewen, 86 died peacefully Saturday May 11, 2018 in Meridian, Idaho. Ida is survived by her three daughters, Lynne Bell, Marlene Blackburn and Sandi Loewen Kilborn, son in law Rocky Blackburn, grandchildren Kerri Charters, Ronee Charters, Michelle Gardner, Kamee Emmel, and Tara Dewit, great grandchildren Kodiak Miller, Jaci White, Ashlynn Monroe, Callan Gardner, Corbin Gardner, Tyler Gardner and Micah Gardner and a brother Claus White.
Ida is preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Loewen, her mother and father Knute and Maria White, three brothers Kenneth White, Bert White, Norman White and a sister Nora Deasy.
Ida was born September 10, 1931 in Cabarton, Idaho. She attended school in New Meadows, Idaho. She married Donald Matthews and they had 2 daughters. They later divorced and she married Kenneth Loewen, the love of her life. She loved being a wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was very proud of her Norwegian heritage and loved the tradition of lutefisk on Christmas; not always appreciated by new comers to the family.
Ida loved camping and fishing with Kenny and tending their vegetable garden and raspberry patch. She made Kendi Rae frozen raspberry jam which she sold through Albertsons. Later in life she worked at Micron until she retired.
Ida will be sorely missed by her family and friends.
