Martha Esther Haumann

Martha Esther (Swinney) Haumann, 98, born January 17, 1922 in Gildford, Montana, and passed away on July 29, 2020 in Boise, Idaho.

Martha and her twin sister, Margret were two out of 10 children born to her parents James Oscar Swinney and Della May (Saul) Swinney. She met and married Kyle O. Haumann on May 10, 1942 in Caldwell, Idaho and they were married for 64 years. For the most part, she was a housewife. At one time, she worked for Clover Club making potato chips. She also worked at the snack bar at Skateland and babysat several kids for many years. Martha and Kyle belonged to the Moose Lodge and Elks Lodge.

She loved and collected butterflies as well as adult coloring books and watching vintage westerns on TV.

She is survived by two sisters, Della Moore of Horeshoe Bend and Agnes Prescott of Nampa; five children, Stephen Kyle Haumann (wife Shirley), Paulette June Manning, Roxanna Faith York, Lanny Saul Haumann (wife LaVonne) of Kansas, and Karola Joan Stock of Mountain Home; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
