Mary and Rex owned and operated jewelry stores in various locations including Boise, McCall and Ketchum.
Mary loved gardening, fishing, woodworking with her father, crocheting, crafting of all kinds, and spending time with her friends and family. She was active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and held various callings and positions over her lifetime. She was an excellent cook and loved canning everything she grew in the garden. She was warm and kind and had a hug for everyone she met. Mary was a “hugger” and no one was a stranger.

Survived by Dixie and (David) Nelson of San Diego, Suni and (John) Garcia of Cocoa, Florida, Kari Campbell of Stayton, Oregon and a brother Carl (Linda) Bassett of South Jordan, Utah, many nephews, nieces, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on at 10:00 AM, August 8, 2018 at Cloverdale Memorial Park in Boise, Idaho. Local Arrangements are under the direction of Cloverdale Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers or donations, please give everyone a "hug" because that is what Mary would want.
