Mary Louise Dew

Mary Louise Dew passed away at her home in Nampa, ID on the morning of November 30, 2020.
Mary Lou was born on October 18, 1937 in Newport, Rhode Island. She was the only child of David and Mary Basler.
At 18 years old Mary Lou was blessed with her first child Deborah Louise Faeth Shubin followed by her son David Gary Faeth a few years later.
Mary Lou married the love of her life Henry “Tom” Dew on November 22, 1969. In years following they enjoyed touring the U.S together. She enjoyed boating with family and friends and many weekend camp trips with her Granddaughters. She had to suffer the lose of both of her children but found triumphant and joy in her Grandchildren Lacey & Crystal (Chris Buss) and Great Grandchildren Caydence and Tristan, whom were the light of her life. Nothing brought her greater joy then seeing laughter and happiness from her loved ones.
You will never meet more of an animal lover then Mary Lou. From dogs and cats to turtles she had many beloved pets over her life and all were her favorite. She enjoyed reading and attending concerts and plays with Tom and friends.
As a member of the 7th Day Adventist Church she enjoyed volunteering and believed strongly in her faith.
Mary Lou was preceded death by her Father (David Basler), Mother (Mary Basler), Daughter (Deborah Shubin) and Son (David Faeth). She is survived by her Husband of 51 years (Henry “Tom” Dew, Nampa, ID), Granddaughter (Lacey Shubin, Boise ID), Granddaughter (Crystal Buss, Meridian ID ), Grandson (Chris Buss, Meridian ID), Great Granddaughter (Caydence Buss) and Great Grandson (Tristan Buss).
No official service will take place due to Mary Lou’s request. She will be laid to rest at Cloverdale Cemetery in Boise, ID.
