Marylyn Fuller VanDecar, 89, left her earthly family to join her beloved husband, Jack, on February 10, 2017.
Marylyn was born October 13, 1927 in Scottsbluff, Nebraska, to Clarence and Hazel (Benson) Fuller.
Marylyn had two older sisters, Melba Hyde and Margaret McKinley.  She married J. C. (Jack) VanDecar on February 7, 1947, in Scottsbluff. Marylyn and Jack had three children, Annette VanDecar-Ide, MaryBeth LaMott (Tim) and John C. VanDecar. Marylyn and Jack moved to Kansas City, Missouri, before departing for adventures out west, first in Moses Lake, Washington, before then settling in Boise in 1959. Jack and Marylyn had a family glass business, VanDecar Glass Co., which they operated out of their home shop on 20th Street, in the North End of Boise.  
Marylyn was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Jack, and her sisters.  She is survived by her children, Annette, MaryBeth and John; grandchildren, Jason Ide (Daria), Jesse Ide, Nicholas LaMott (Amanda) and Kathryn LaMott; and great-grandchildren, Declan LaMott, Naima Ide and Bennett LaMott.
A memorial service will be held at a future date.
The family would like to thank Paramount Assisted Living in Eagle, Id and St. Luke’s Hospice for her care.  In lieu of flowers, a gift to a favorite charity would be appreciated.
