Max Leroy Newcomer

Max Leroy Newcomer 85, Boise, ID passed away Tuesday, July 31, 2018. He was born November 28, 1932 in Waterloo, Indiana as the 4th of 9 children to Arthur William Newcomer and Lucy fern Beard Newcomer.
Max was in the US Air Force for 20 years to include several tours in Vietnam. He retired in 1972 and moved to Boise where he worked in the post office until he retired. He attended the “Ashley School”. He was a member of the Boise #2 Mason Lodge as a 32nd Degree Mason, a member of the El Korah Shrine Sawhunter Unit, member of the Order of the Eastern Star and a past Grand Chapter Marshal.
He met his wife Donna Allemeier in Hudson and they were for married 64 years. They have 3 children, Rickie Lee, Steven Ray, and Jacquelyn Jean Garcia, 5 Grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Service is at Cloverdale Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, August 4, 2018 at 2:00 PM with an Order of the Eastern Star Ceremony. Burial will be at Terrace Lawn Memorial Gardens with Military Honors and Masonic Rites under the direction of Cloverdale Funeral Home. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Friday, August 3, 2018 between 6-8 PM.
