Nancy Marie Ware

Nancy Marie Ware was born on July 17, 1959 in Bakersfield, California to John and Pauline Ledford. She was most proud of her service in the Air Force. She served from February 1979 to April 1982. While serving she was one of the first women to become a Jet Engine Mechanic. After being honorably discharged from the Air Force, Nancy began to pursue a career in nursing. She had a son, Kevin Logan, born on May 4, 1984 and a daughter, Jessica Langley born on June 15, 1987. Her passion was all things outdoors, and she had an enduring interest in her Native American heritage. Nancy will be forever missed and remembered by her children, grandchildren (Preslie, Jordan and Bentley), as well as many others.
