Natalie Rundquist

May 21, 1957 ~ February 26, 2021 (age 63) 63 Years Old

Tribute

On February 26, 2021, Natalie Rundquist departed to tap dance upon the stars after a noble four-year battle with cancer. Born on May 21, 1957, Natalie was the third of the four children of Lorna Kemp and Dudley Vincent Rundquist. She is survived by her brother Phillip V. Rundquist and his wife Julie Rundquist, sister Katherine Rundquist, sister Valarie Rundquist and her husband Myles A. Twete, niece Lindsay M. Clinebell and her husband Matthew Clinebell, nephew Peter V. Rundquist, and best-kitty-friend Sophie.

Natalie was raised on a dairy farm in Meridian, graduated from Meridian High School, and attended Boise State University. She was an active member of the German American Edelweiss Club, serving as a board member for several years. She was a talented recorder musician, an avid and skilled knitter, an impassioned tap dancer, and as a dedicated anglophile she was passionate of all things Jane Austin.

One of Natalie’s great joys was her work at Spaulding STEM Academy where she provided support for the student lunch servers and helped to oversee a safe environment for students at recess.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, March 22 at 11:00 a.m. at Terrace Lawn Memorial Gardens, 4255 E Fairview Ave, Meridian.

Very special thanks go to Natalie’s sister Katherine and dear friend Chris Plumer for their constant support with Natalie’s long battle.
She left us, yet she is with us. Gone with the full moon, but not forgotten.

In lieu of flowers, please support The Idaho Foodbank.
